#LekkiMassacre: Glimpse Of Hope as CNN Exposes Culprits Behind Lekki Toll Gate Incident

In Nigeria thousands of people mostly youths have been protesting against Systemic police brutality as part of a largely peaceful movement called #EndSARS.

This movement began on 8/10/2020. Nigerians have been taking to the streets, peacefully demanding an end to police brutality and extortion by the Special Anti-Robbery Squad (SARS), a unit of the Nigerian police tasked with fighting violent crimes.

But on October 20 2020, these protests turned deadly as the army and police moved in on unarmed civilians as seen on the Photo below. The Nigerian army has called allegations that it fired into the crowd "fake news" and told a judicial panel of inquiry that it did not shoot at any civilian but a new CNN investigation can reveal this is not true as they provided the exact video that happened that night. According Nima Elbagir CNN. The Bonny Camp Nigerian Soldiers were seen shooting at protesters in Lagos and most of the bullets found at the seen were purchased by the Nigerian Government in Serbia 2005 as seen in the photo below.

CNN also provided proves to the Nigerian Army but they received no response, Lagos state authorities wouldn't comment on their reporting unless a Judicial panel of inquiry presents its findings.

My fellow Nigerians, let's have hope. Justice must be served.
