Nigerians have been reacting to the report that stated that President Buhari had directed security operatives to shoot anyone seen with AK 47 rifle on sight. According to a report published by THE CABLE, the senior special assistant to President Buhari on media and publicity made it clear that the Federal Government is now resulting to lethal force to put an end to banditry in Zamfara and other northern states.

Garba Shehu also said that President Buhari has ordered a clampdown on bandits who have refused to surrender, adding that security agents have been directed to shoot anyone seen with terrible and sophisticated weapons like AK 47.

Security operatives have been instructed to go into bushes and shoot anyone they see with weapons like AK 47 and others.
