It was indeed a blessed day for this woman when the governor of Abia state His Excellency Okezie Ikpazu visited a site for inspection.
Mr. Ikpazu visited the site to inspect the renovations work of the infectious disease hospital Aba, while the governor was going around the site, he notice a masons woman who was busy mixing cement and also carrying blocks.
The governor starred at her and was impressed with what he was seeing. After a while he sent for the woman,
brought out a huge cash and gave it to her saying…
Jisike nnu, (which could mean Weldon in Igbo) the governor said to her.
Thank you sir, the woman answer with a big smile on her face.
No one can state the exact amount he gave her, but bade on daily pay in the state, she will have to work for weeks to earn such amount of money.
In deed there say they is always a good day, Today was that good day for this woman in her working place.
