During a press conference meeting with the Labour Party, the father of the LP gubernatorial candidate, Rhodes-Vivour, stated that if he travels anywhere in the world and Peter Obi is his president, he won't be ashamed, pointing out that if the president-elect is his president, he will be ashamed because he will try to change the green in his passport to yellow.

He further stated that when Nigerians travel abroad and show people their passports, they normally move them to stay in one place while they attend to others.
According to him, "If I go anywhere in the world and Datti or Obi is my president, I will not be ashamed. But you can imagine when I go into Heathrow and the person who won the presidency-elect is my president, you know my passport, I'll begin to try and see whether I can turn the green to a yellow, because what usually happens is that they'll just move you; you're from Nigeria; stay there.
