The president-elect, Asiwaju Bola Ahmed Tinubu of the All Progressives Congress (APC), spoke about some of the challenges encountered by members of his party in the quest of his victory.
Asiwaju Bola Ahmed Tinubu said, "many loyal members of the All Progressives Party (APC) had the opportunity to betray our party and are still owing our party's agents. Despite the fact that some of them faced the problems of cashless policy, they still delivered victory." He added, "I want you all to know that without your victory, I will not be standing here as the president-elect. There is no way I can intentionally let anyone of you down. I owe you and the women leaders gratitude because without women, there can't be a nation."
Again, Asiwaju Bola Ahmed Tinubu said, "as for the youths, I heard your voice loud and clear. Whatever the course I am embarking is, we are going to chart the path together. No world is too small to be greedy."
Lastly, Asiwaju Bola Ahmed Tinubu said, "I want the youths to know that I will pay attention to their education and my administration will be creative. Credit (education loan) will be made available to them."
