The defection of Femi Fani Kayode, former minister of Aviation, and a popular politician from the Peoples Democratic Party to the All Progressives Congress has indeed surprised the majority of Nigerians, and this is probably because of his opinions which he had of the APC in the past.

Femi Fani Kayode who gave his reasons for the defection to the ruling party made two statements, according to a verified publication, which I feel have some lessons that not only any politician should learn from, but every Nigerian who desires a peaceful and a unified nation.
The first thing he said was that he spoke against Muhammadu Buhari from the outside, but now he knows him from the inside. Femi Fani Kayode has probably realized the effort which Muhammadu Buhari, under the APC, has been doing for Nigeria.
From this statement made by Femi Fani Kayode, everyone can learn to never come into a conclusion in any given situation or about the agenda of anyone until one is in the exact same spot, even as a positive change is being anticipated.

Secondly, FFK said there will always be a time to condemn, and criticize, and also a time to come together and achieve unity. This is quite an important statement which he made, as everyone who desires a loving Nigeria will put aside criticism and condemnation, all to achieve unity and love.
One can learn from the statement of FFK that condemnation and criticism is ineffective in any given situation if the aim is not to bring togetherness among people or create positivity.
One can also learn that irrespective of the circumstances in any situation, it is important that people learn to put aside their differences, come together and achieve what would be the best for everyone.
What do you think of the statement which he said, and the lessons that can be learnt from that? Put your thoughts in the comment section below, and don't forget to share them with others
