The aspirations of Rotimi Akeredolu to win today's Governorship primary election of the All Progressive Congress (APC) got a morale boaster today as a very influential and key aspirant in the race, Olusegun Abraham steps down for him.
The goodnews was shared on the official twitter page of the state Governor, Oluwarotimi Odunayo Akeredolu S.A.N.
Olusegun Abraham who was Bola Ahmed Tinubu annointed candidate in 2016 was defeated by Oluwarotimi Akeredolu in the primary election and eventually won the Governorship poll although this did not go well with the National Leader of APC, Bola Tinubu.
It is believed that the endorsement of Olusegun Abraham will further boast the chances of the incumbent Governor in today's primary. The Independent National Electoral Commission (INEC) has slated the 10th of October as the date for the governorship election in the Sunshine state.
What do you think about the stepping down of Olusegun Abraham for Governor Oluwarotimi Akeredolu?
