Peoples Democratic Party screening committee has disqualified 41 chairmanship aspirants for the upcoming election.
41 chairmanship aspirants did not fulfill a number of the guidelines for the election.
The disqualified aspirants are from the five geo-political zones of the state.
In Ibadan Zone, 22 did not make it, while nine aspirants were not cleared in Oyo Zone. only one aspirant from Ibarapa Zone was not cleared, while six(6) and three(3) aspirants were disqualified in Oke Ogun and Ogbomoso Zones.
Publicity Secretary of the party, said that the affected aspirants would be contacted later.
106 aspirants for chairmanship and 749 for councillorship positions have been cleared.
A complete number of 147 aspirants applied for the position of chairmanship within the 33 government areas of Oyo State, the entire number of successful aspirants were 106 while one aspirant wasn't in attendance.
808 councillorship aspirants were screened while 749 councillorship aspirants were cleared. The remaining 59 were not cleared for not having the ability to satisfy up the needs.
Starting screening of the Aspirants shows readiness for the upcoming election.
