Recall that one of the reasons APC has been able to defeat PDP in the previous governorship elections in Lagos State is the political influence of the former Governor of the State and National Leader of APC, Bola Ahmed Tinubu.

Tinubu's dominance in Lagos politics has been helping the ruling party to defeat PDP in the governorship election in Lagos State.
For the main opposition party to win Lagos in the 2023 governorship election, it has to find ways to end Tinubu's dominance in Lagos politics.

However, two indicators have shown the main opposition party, PDP, may likely end Tinubu's political influence in Lagos State and win the 2023 governorship election in the State.
The Crisis Rocking Lagos State Chapter Of APC
One factor that may help PDP to end Tinubu and APC's dominance in Lagos politics is the crisis currently rocking the Lagos State Chapter of APC.
A report by Daily Trust explained that the internal crisis in the Lagos State chapter of APC has worsened following the emergence of Salvador bloc headed by Hon. Mashood Salvador.

The report revealed that the internal crisis in Lagos APC was deepened by the rejection of the APC ward and local government congresses by the Salvador bloc.
The crisis is already causing division in the Lagos State chapter of APC, it may help PDP to end Tinubu and APC's dominance in the 2023 governorship election if the crisis is not resolved.

Remember that the aggrieved party members may work against the party if the crisis is not resolved before the next governorship election in the State.
The Ongoing Lagos4Lagos Movement Led By Jandor
The ongoing movement tagged Lagos4Lagos Movement aimed at ending Tinubu's political influence in Lagos State is another thing that may help the main opposition party to win the Lagos governorship election in 2023.

The movement championed by Olajide Adediran, otherwise known as, “Jandor", want to end Tinubu's dominance in Lagos politics.
Just like how the Otege movement that ended Saraki's political influence in Kwara State started, the Lagos4Lagos movement is already gaining recognition and followers in Lagos State.

The movement may likely help PDP to end Tinubu's dominance in Lagos politics and win the 2023 governorship election.
The group that formed the Movement is within the Lagos State chapter of APC, it's already dividing Lagos APC after it held parallel local congresses during the last APC local government congresses in Lagos State.
