The Former Governor of Edo State and Former APC National Chairman, Adams Oshiomhole speaking during his campaign tour at Owan West Local government area of Edo State has alleged that the Presidential candidate of the Labour Party, Peter Obi cannot claim that he's distinct from the Peoples Democratic Party. Oshiomhole argued that undoubtedly shares a bond with Alhaji Atiku Abubakar and that this is why they both ran together as running mate in 2019.
He stated further that Peter Obi can't claim to be a Labour man when he left the PDP just a few weeks to the Presidential election. According to him, he's the true labour man because he has the widespread popularity across Nigeria. Oshiomhole bragged that Peter Obi cannot claim that inscription as a Nigerian Politician.
He said, ''Peter Obi and Atiku shares something in common. In 2019, Peter Obi was Atiku's running mate. Before you can agree to run with me, we must have something in common. Since when did he discover that Atiku is corrupt. Around last year he was still in PDP. It is when he lost the Primary that he ran to Labour but sadly for him, I'm the Nigeria Mr. Labour. He cannot take that honour from me. There is no Labour in Nigeria apart from Adams Oshiomhole. There is no village that will go in Nigeria that people does not know me.''
