President Muhammadu Buhari, GCFR, President and Commander-in-Chief of the Armed Forces of the Federal Republic of Nigeria in 2019 approved a singular Special Public Works Programme in the Rural Areas.
The programme went through the NDE for approval. The SPW in the Rural Areas is an employment technique acquired and adapted by the National Directorate of Employment (NDE) from one of the capacity-building collaborations with the International Labour Organisation.
The programme will pay it's beneficiaries #20,000 monthly, which is below the minimum wage (30,000). But what can we do, other than to accept? It is targeting to employ 1000 people from each local government area, making a total of 774,000 as seen in the image below
I have had seen questions from users, asking/seeking how to successfully register for the programme? The process is simple.
All you need to do is to call the committee members appointed for your respective states talk to them directly. They would guide you on how to go on with the registration.
To know the committee members for state kindly visit: specialpublicworks.gov.ng
Note: Do not pay money to anyone to gain favours!!
