I Was Sad That There Was An Exchange Of Words Between Obedient And Wole Soyinka—Peter Obi.

The presidential candidate of the Labour Party, Mr. Peter Obi, has reacted to the exchange of words between Professor Wole Soyinka and his fans some days ago, which sparked a lot of reaction in the country.

Let us recall the exchange of words that started when Professor Wole Soyinka frowned about the opinion of the Labour Party vice presidential candidate, Datti Ahmed, on the just concluded election as he declared what he said as fascism.

However, when Mr. Peter Obi was talking on Arise TV some hours ago, he explained that he was so sad that such an exchange happened because Professor Wole Soyinka is the person that he respected very well and regarded like a father.

Obi further charges that many of those who exchange words with Wole Soyinka are not his followers and are members of the opposition party who disguised themselves as his supporters for selfish reasons.

At the same time, we need to know that most of the Nigerian youth who are my followers are frustrated, tired of how this country is governed, and want a new country where they will be proud to be Nigerians.

Even most of the time, how these youths replied to me when I said something was terrible, and that further made me notice that these youths are tired of how Nigeria is governed.
