The launching of the Ebubeagu security outfit in the whole of Igbo land by South East governors can be tagged as a smart move despite the fact that the decision seem to have arrived at a late hour. The existence of the group which seem to be a welcome development in terms of battling the cases of gunmen attacks and the intensely increasing insecurity in the East is what every ideal Igbo indigene should be proud of, as the government has been against the illegal operation of the Eastern Security Network.
Apparently, amidst the operation of this very EbubeAgu security outfit and in a bid to help improve the security system in the East and lessen the operation of the unknown gunmen, all Igbos must equally come out to show their full support for the security outfit. We all are aware of how the ESN has been operating in the East despite the fact that the group and it's attributes are illegal, considering the existence of Ebubeagu one couldn't be mistaken when one says that this is definitely a great and better replacement for the illegal ESN.
According to my own opinion and considering the fact that Ebubeagu will start operating very soon immediately they disperse throughout South East, I strongly believe that Igbos no longer need the services of ESN based on grounds that they are illegal and had failed to protect South East from the snares of the unknown gunmen, I believe it's time for the Igbos to make a turn and embrace EbubeAgu for better security results.
