While speaking on the call for restructuring by the Southern governors, the governor said:
"I currently appreciate the position, and I respect the position, and view of our brothers from the Southern region for the call for restructuring of the country. Mr President has granted the antonym of the judiciary, and the local government by going ahead to sign all the executive order. Also, national conference, national dialogue. We have our representative from the Senate to the House of Reps to the various House of Assembly. For crying out loud, we elected them to represent us, it is not just enough for the President to say, Nigerians to come let's begin to dialogue, we have each and every one of these, and there are several dialogues, and conference which the report are gathering dust today, what's stopping the National Assembly to come up with the documents, and deliberate on it, and come with opposition, and forward it to the President, and wait for him to agree to it or not".
