Professor Charles Egbu, hails from Anambra state. He is an alumnus of Leeds Trinity University, United kingdom.
He is a foremost Quantity surveyor with 12 books and 350 publications to his credit.
He was recently named Vice Chancellor of Leeds Trinity University, United kingdom. This made him the first black person to be appointed helmsman of a ranked University in UK.
President Mohammed Buhari has commended him for making Nigeria proud.
He went on to urge him to keep the flag flying.
The president also said, that the upcoming generation especially the youths should view him as a role model.
Professor Charles Egbu who is set to begin his duties as from September, assured the president that he will not relent in keeping up the good work.
He is an Igbo man and of course a pace setter. Nigerians are good ambassadors of their countries where ever they are and Professor Charles Egbu had proved this to be true.
