In May 2010, Nigeria lost one of its best men, Umaru Musa Yar'Adua, after a long-term illness. He was one of Nigeria's best presidents.
However, there are three things he did during his tenure as president of of the federal republic of Nigeria

Below are the three things he did.
1: Yar'Adua increased the salaries of the armed forces.
2: He agreed to grant amnesty to the Niger-Delta Militants.
Yaradua approved amnesty to put an end to the Niger-Delta region's deadly militant activities. More than 10,000 militants surrendered after the late President unconditionally pardoned them.
3: Yar'Adua reduced petrol prices during his tenure.
Almost every Nigerian president since Yakubu Gowon has increased the price of petrol, including Murtala Mohammed, Shehu Shagari, Ernest Shonekan, and Olusegun Obasanjo.
However, Yaradua reduced the price of a liter from N75 to N65 in Nigeria.
That was one of his greatest achievements during his tenure.
Sadly, he passed away before he could complete his tenure as the president of Nigeria. Nigerians will always remember him for his good leadership.
