Nyesom Wike, the governor of Rivers State, said that he went to meet Atiku Abubakar to offer him the party chairmanship since he is already the presidential candidate, but he refused and said he must have it all because he had already won. This was during the opening of Chokocho-Igbodo Road in Rivers State.
Wike continued by saying that he cautioned Atiku to exercise caution and pointed out that his behavior went against the letter of the constitution, but Atiku refused. Wike, however, came to the conclusion that the yelling we did prior to everything happening is no longer being discussed.
In his opinion, "We came to you, and you took the president and the party chairman. Both the letter and the spirit of our constitution are violated by this." Give me back chairman. You argued that since you won, you must be in possession of everything, and I advised you. Furthermore, nobody wants to think back on all of these events from when we were shouting. Forget about all those young boys who are shouting "Yahoo!" and posting this nonsense on social media.
They assembled this using my picture, claimed it was Wike, and left. They then dispatched a soldier, claiming I had intended to bribe them; however, the army has denied this. Recall how I claimed that the military was rigging our elections in 2019? You recall that. "Oh, because I was trying to bribe them and they refused, they have brought that video back," the soldiers said when they arrived.
