According to a report by the Vanguard News, the Governor of Rivers, Nyesom Wike, has described the Governors of the All Progressive Congress as his heroes of the just concluded presidential election.

Speaking earlier today, Wike said that he was shocked when all of the APC governors came together and agreed that power should return to the South for the sake of equity, justice, and fairness.
He said: “APC governors are my heroes. They came out openly to tell the world, tell Nigerians, ‘look, the unity of this country is paramount. We don’t want Nigeria divided’. I was shocked when all of them came out and said we have had it for eight years in the North, let it go South for eight years, so we can have harmony, peace, and unity.”
Recall that Wike and four other governors, refused to support the presidential candidate of their party, Atiku Abubakar, over the issue of power rotation and allocation within the PDP.
