There's no gainsaying about political permutations, manipulations and strategies that are being perpetrated by politicians against the 2023 general election. As Nigerians wait anxiously to exercise their franchise in 2023, smart politicians have begun taking worthwhile decisions to win the hearts of voters to their cause. As reported by Naijanews yesterday, 21 September, 2021, a group comprising of Atahiru Jega, Former Kwara State Governor, Ahmed Abdulfatai, Prof. Pat Utomi, Prof. Tunde Adeniran, former Governor of Cross River state, Donald Duke formed a new powerful political party named Rescue Nigeria Project, RNP. It is pertinent to objectively weigh the prospect of this new party and state reasons why the two major parties in Nigeria – APC and PDP must be afraid of the party.

While unveiling the party, its leader explained that Nigeria has not experienced the change it required, they argued that the country had failed to live up to the expectation of its founding fathers. They traced the Nigeria problem to the lack of quality leadership and, thus, came up with their rescue project.
