The House of Representative Committee and the Education Minister to meet with the President, Muhammadu Buhari and the Governors, on the deliberation of a new date form the West African Examination Council (WAEC) Examination.
The stakeholders was revealed to have had a earlier meeting based on whether the examination is to hold by September and later concluded on having the final discussion with President Muhammadu Buhari and the Governors.
The meeting was held in the interest of the 1.6 million candidates registered for WAEC and also prior to the fact that the country is running out of time as there was a need to agree on a date for the regional exercise.
However, the head of WAEC National office in Nigeria, Patrick Areghan, has disclosed that it will take quite a period of time to print the examination questions and also some necessities which might come into play.
The meeting was based on the fact that there is a need to find a date acceptable.
