Oyo state government has announced change in date for uploading of documents for the 2020 Teaching Service Commission (TESCOM) recruitment exercise.
In a statement issued on Tuesday, on behalf of the Executive Chairman, Mrs. Grace Olabisi Oderinde, said the exercise has been shifted to Thursday 16th July, and will lasts till Wednesday 22nd July 2020.
InsideOyo.com had earlier report that the exercise would hold between 13th July to 18th July 2020.
"Sequel to the earlier correspondence published by TESCOM on 10th July 2020 on uploading personal document, lt has come to our notice that applicants are facing difficulties in accessing the website.
"Our technical crew is presently working on it at the back end while, the state portal jobportal.oyostate.gov.ng remains valid and the new date for this exercise will subsequently be shifted to Thursday 16th July, till Wednesday 22nd July 2020.
"We sincerely apologize for any inconvenience this might have caused and accept assurances of our utmost support at all times," the statement seen by InsideOyo.com on Tuesday, reads.
The new update is for those who applied for the Teaching Service Commission jobs. They are to visit jobportal.oyostate.gov.ng and upload the details of their credentials and personal data.
The teaching service commission had said the exercise is essential and part of the recruitment processes.
“Please note that ONLY applicants who have already filled and submitted the application forms are eligible for this exercise.
“We hereby enjoin all applicants to take note of this development, as failure to comply will lead to forfeiture of such application.”
