Do you Remember the lady Hawking water at Oshodi market without a leg whose picture surfaced online few days ago? The Lagos State government have come to her rescue. Based on the news that circulated online, this lady has been amputated when she was eleven years old. She got pregnant but her ex husband denied the pregnancy. All what she could do (for a living other than stealing and prostitution) to survive and take care of her little child and her grandmother is to hawk water in the market.
Hours after her pictures went viral on all social media platforms, many prominent people have came to her rescue by supporting her with fund because her story is a touching one. According to an Instagram blogger, instablog9ja, the Lagos State government have decided to her rescue by taking over the welfare of this young lady and her daughter. This lady has indeed found favour in the sight of men.
