FS Yesufu has taken to his social media account and advised Nigerians concerning blowing a whistle to expose an All Progressives Congress (APC) politicians. His tweet came shorting after the recent detained of Mahdi Shehu. Recall that Mahdi Shehu alleged that between June 2015 and April 29, 2020, the government squandered N52billion from the state’s security account, among others.
Sharing his tweet, FS Yesufu stated that anyone blowing a whistle to expose an APC politician might be taking a big risk. He said it seems the whistle-blowing policy is design for their enemies, not their counterparts.
He further stated that Mahdi Shehu is treated like a terrorist, not a whistle-blower that the government pledges to protect. He also used the free Mahdi Shehu hashtag that is trending at the moment.

It might interest you to know that Mahdi Shehu was initially detained for 11 days between November and December 2020. However, the High court condemned his arrested and awarded N5 million as damages. He got rearrested on February 16, 20121.
