Several Nigerians have called for the sacking of the Chairman of the Code of Conduct tribunal over a statement he issued regarding his alleged assault on a security staff at a Plaza in Abuja.
Danladi was captured in a video which was trending online, in the video he attacked a security staff in a popular Plaza in Abuja.
Moments later, he released a statement where he denied assaulting the staff but instead said he was assaulted by a Biafran Boy.
The mentioning of the word 'Biafran Boy' word raised an outrage as many Nigerians have called for him to be sacked.
A Nigerian man based in the United States by name Olaudah Equiano has vowed to renounce his US citizenship if Buhari sacks Danladi Umar over the statement he made.
"If Buhari sacks Danladi Umar for his 'Biafran Boys' rant, I'll publicly renounce my US citizenship", he said.
