A popular human rights activist and the convener of 'Bring Back Our Girls' Aisha Yesufu has reacted after the Nigerian Senate reportedly approved another $6.1 billion loan. According to the outspoken social media commentator, the 9th Assembly has turned out to be a shadow of the executive arm of government. She explained that the Ahmed Lawan led Nigerian Senate can approve the dissolution of the legislative arm if the president asked them to do so. She added that the present legislative arm is preposterous. Here is what she said, "The 9th Assembly can approve the dissolution of the legislative arm sef if asked by Buhari. They are that preposterous!", she said.

This post has attracted a lot of attention as many Nigerians are reacting to it. The majority is of the view that the 9th Assembly is working for the best interest of the nation. They posit that the legislative arm is working hand in hand with the executive arm to make Nigeria a better place.
There are a few others who think differently. This category of people is of the view that a harmonious executive and legislative arm does not make any country better, rather, it makes a mockery of democracy.
What is your view?.
• Do you think that the 9th Assembly is doing well?.
• Do you think that the 9th Assembly needs to improve?.
• Do you think that approving the $6.1 billion loan by the 9th Assembly is a good move?.
