The popular APC Chieftain in Lagos State (Joe Igbokwe) has revealed how some Unknown Gunmen set his house ablaze in Nnewi (Anambra State). Joe Igbokwe claimed that IPOB (Indigeneous People Of Biafra) members are responsible for the attack.

In a video released by "Daily Post Nigeria", the house was seriously burning while some residents used their phones to snap some pictures.

However, Joe Igbokwe is among the Igbo politicians that criticize the activities of Nnamdi Kanu and IPOB members within the South-east region.
Also, apart from the burning of Joe Igbokwe's house, Chike Akunyili (The husband of late former NAFDAC Director General, Dora Akunyili) was recently murdered by unknown gunmen in Anambra state. These incidents have caused a lot of fear and tension within the South-east region.

Nevertheless, I believe that the burning of Joe Igbokwe's house by unknown gunmen should be a wake up call for South-east governors. They should provide enough security officers within their states in order to secure lives and properties.

Police officers and military men should be deployed to communities where these unknown gunmen often carry out their attacks. These security officers should be fully equipped with weapons and other security devices.
Also, South-east governors should begin an investigation to know the people that are sponsoring these unknown gunmen. They should arrest the people that are supplying these Unknown Gunmen with weapons and other ammunition to carry out their attacks within the South-east region.
