PDP Sends Strong Warning To Buhari:
The main opposition party in the country, the Peoples Democratic Party, PDP, has taken strong exemption to a remark by President Muhammadu Buhari that Nigerians should expect ‘continuity’ from his administration, following his return from routine medical checks in London, the United Kingdom.
The President had while fielding questions from a reporter at the Nnamdi Azikiwe International Airport, Abuja on what Nigerians should expect from him, said “continuity,” a response the PDP, described as unacceptable.
APC Fixes June 26 For Anambra Governorship Primary:
The All Progressives Congress (APC) has fixed June 26 for the conduct of its governorship primary election in Anambra State.
In a statement on Thursday, APC Director of Organisation, Al-Mustapha Medaner, said the governorship expression of interest form cost N2.5 million while the nomination form is N20 million.
According to the statement, Medaner said female and physically challenged aspirants will only pay 50 percent.
PDP Slams APC Over Twitter's Ghana Headquarters:
The People’s Democratic Party (PDP) has condemned the declaration by the All Progressives Congress (APC) that the bypassing of Nigeria by Twitter to cite its African Headquarters in Ghana is a ‘non-issue’.
