Security: President Muhammadu Buhari Makes A Strong Statement About States Of The Nation

President Muhammadu Buhari has stated again that his administration will not rest until Nigeria's current security concerns are addressed appropriately.

Buhari remarked this in Abuja during the public presentation of the book "Standing Strong," wherein he was represented by the Minister of Science and Technology, Dr Ogbonayan Onu. Former Senate President Ken Nnamani penned the book.

"As a result, we're assessing our measures to keep degrading the capacities of all criminal elements in the country," he said.

President Buhari claims that sufficient resources have been deployed to boost the military's capabilities.

He praised the work of the Nigerian military forces and other security services in combatting crime in the country.

Nigeria is dealing with an unprecedented wave of diverse but overlapping security issues, ranging from kidnapping to extremist insurgencies, with violence and criminality affecting practically every part of the country.

President Buhari campaigned on a vow to safeguard citizens from terrorists and criminals when he was elected in 2015. However, his final time in office is less than two years old, and the country is more insecure than it has been in decades.
