Hope Uzodinma Uncertain Of Governorship Seat As Federal High Court Adjourns Hearing. [Opinion]

As stated by RAP (the Reform and Advancement Party) and it's candidate for the 2019 Imo state Governorship elections, Mr. Okereke Kingdom has said that Governor Hope Uzodinma is not the lawful APC (All Progressive Congress) Governorship candidate for Imo state and was never endorsed by APC in Imo State.

Mr. Okereke Kingdom, who was the Governorship Candidate for the Reform and Advancement Party (RAP) has proceeded towards the Federal High Court in Abuja, to ask for equity and judicial interpretation with regards to if the political party, APC, supported and sponsored Hope Uzodinma as their Governorship candidate.

According him, the son In-law of former Governor Rochas Okorocha was the lawful candidate.

It was also said that the former National chairman of the APC, Adams Oshiomole did not permit Uche Nwosu to replace his father in-law, Rochas Okorocha. This made Uche Nwosu get another governorship ticket from Action Alliance (AA).

Therefore Uche Nwosu was in possession of two Governorship tickets from both APC and AA, but Uche Nwosu was neither recognized nor accepted by APC.

The former APC National chairman, Adams Oshiomole gave Senator Hope Uzodinma the exact ticket, who finally came third position as Emeka Ihedioha was announced as the lawful winner of the 2019 Imo state Governorship elections.

It was indeed a huge shock to everyone when Emeka Ihedioha was shamefully sacked from office on January 14th, 2020 and Hope Uzodinma was declared winner.

Once more, the Federal High Court has adjourned this case till Monday being the 20th of July 2020.
