The internet is on frenzy as dozens of policemen circle the House of Dr. Joy Nunieh, the former MD of NDDC, who is scheduled to testify before a House of Reps panel today, July 16, 2020, as part of the ongoing probe of NDDC.
It's gathered that their presence means she cannot leave for the Port Harcourt International Airport where she should be connecting a flight to Abuja.
Joy Nunieh had in a recent interview accused Godswill Akpabio of trying to “come up” on her after failing to bribe her and convince her to take an oath of secrecy in Abuja. She equally accused the Niger Delta Minister of corruption and gross abuse of office, among other allegations.
But Akpabio, in a statement by his spokesman, Aniete Ekong, described the allegations as “ false, malicious and libellous.
Come to think of it, Governor Wike has said something on this woman and someone went ahead to deploy this policemen.
In my own opinion, let Dr. Joy Nunieh request a zoom meeting with the National Assembly and share the link to media houses.
If Mohammed cannot go to the mountain, it will have to come to Mohammed.
What do you guys think about this?
