This state was made up of the present Adamawa and Taraba State. However, it should be said that it was divided in the year 1991. This information has been confirmed by the Daily Trust. It should be said that the name"Gongola State" is no longer in use because that state does not exist anymore.
2. Bendel State
This name is no longer in use in Nigeria. However, it should be said that Edo State and Delta State used to be part of a state known as Bendel State. This state is no longer in existence in Nigeria. This information has been confirmed by the Vanguard News.
