Nigeria as a country is blessed with different region and ethnic groups. Bringing us to the fact that this administration are doing their best to see that citizens are comfortable and happy. And we all know that Abuja-Kaduna has a functional train system same way we have between Lagos-Ibadan.
But do you know that the Abuja-Kaduna train speed was reduced because of cows? One thing I love about this Government is that, aside making citizens comfortable and safe, they also consider situations that will not harm animals in any way. So the government considers certain things before they start a project on any area.
Making them to reduce the speed of train from 120km/h, to 90km/h. Making it a bit slower to avoid harming or claiming the lives of cows. According to report by the ministry of transport Rotimi Amaechi, he said the speed of Abuja - Kaduna rail was reduced because of cows. That the train ran about 100km/h and killed lots of cows and they were asked to pay. So they hard to reduce it to 90km/hr. See source.
This is nice, because cows are also important and it will be sad to lose cows no thanks to the speed from the train. On seeing details why Abuja-Kaduna train speed was reduced, what do you think?
And according to report from Vanguard months back, (link), it was once made known that: about 52 cows were killed by a train along Kasarami – Jere axis in Chikkun Local Government Area in Kaduna State. Justifying why the minster of transport had to reduce the speed to protect the animals.
