While the acting managing director of the commision, Pondei Kemebradikumo was been grilled, he faced his table and could not respond for some time, before he was revived back to life, as it made known that he had seizure during the course of the questioning.
The acting managing director also made it known that the expenditure the NDDC incurred between January and July, was not N1.5bn but, N1.32bn.
While the Minister of Niger-Delta affairs, Godswill Akpabio was been questioned, he revealed it that the same people questioning him are the same people who are benefitting the most from the Commision. He said this as he made it known that, most contracts Niger-Delta Development Commission do carry out is been given to the members of the Nigeria's National Assembly.
Senator Shehu Sani, a former Senator who represented Kaduna Central Senatorial District reacting to this on his official handle said, the Niger-Delta Development Commission was created to solve the problems of the Niger-Delta, but now, the commission itself has become another problem to the Niger Delta people.
