Government of Rivers State should not be blame for placed a ban on a planned meeting of some Igbo residents in oyigbo Local government area, it's maybe the fear that such meeting could spark unrest in the area
As chief security officer of the state, Governor Wike has right protect his people from anything that can disturb the peace and unity of the state
Rivers State Government is not and can never be against the Igbos, of course we have millions of Igbos in the State living well and doing businesses peacefully
What the Government of Rivers State is trying to do is to protect the lives and properties of his people, which i think is a kind measures for the peace of the State and to create good environment for the people
What Governor Wike did is very proactive step i must say. Other state governors should be courageous enough to emulate him. With the security situation in the southeast, it's only proper acts fast to prevent criminal elements from carrying out their criminal activities in Rivers State.
May God Almighty restore the peace and unity to entire Nigeria
