An individual from the House of Representatives Committee on Niger Delta Development Commission has blamed the Minister for Niger Delta Affairs, Godswill Akpabio of misdirecting the board of trustees.
Fair Thomas Ereyi-Tobi, who is directing the consultation, blamed Akpabio for lying after swearing to tell the truth while affirming before the board.
As indicated by Ereyi-Tobi, "I have listened mindfully through the entirety of your entries, yet I simply need to reveal to you a certain something, you came here to deceive the parliament, and you are sworn to tell the truth. That is the thing that you have done intentionally.
"You chose to simply come here and misdirect the parliament. I need to put it to you that your accommodation and all the annexures, 8,9,10 and 11 are deceiving.
"Prior to at that point, you said you have no connection of any agreement among yourself and NDDC, your activity is simply to direct, however correspondences show you have been favoring measurable reviews and agreements."

Akpabio showed up before the House of Representative Committee which is researching the supposed misappropriation of assets in the Niger Delta Development Commission, NDDC.
Review that the board of trustees had on Friday called Akpabio, following claims leveled against him by the previous Managing Director of the NDDC, Joy Nunieh.
The House Committee is exploring asserted fumble of assets by the current NDDC's Interim Management Committee (IMC).
Nunieh had blamed Akpabio for misrepresentation, cushioning, inappropriate behavior, among others.
Be that as it may, Akpabio has requested his attorney to begin legitimate activities against Nunieh over the said claims.
