Abba Kyari OON was a Nigerian lawyer who served as Chief of Staff to the President of Nigeria from August 2015 to April 2020.
His friendship with President Muhammadu Buhari started in 1976, when Buhari was still the governor of Borno state.
Before his death, he was married to Ibrahim Tahir's sister in-law and had four beautiful children.
The former chief of staff left a good legacy that would stand the test of time. In this article, I will be enumerating 5 vital lessons to be learnt three months after the former chief of staff left earth to be with his heavenly father;
1. Nothing lasts forever on earth:
In life, most persons live like they won't die one day and leave earth. Abba Kyari was a very successful man who with hard work and dedication, amassed many wealth which will be inherited by his kids after death knocked on his door.
2. Power is transient:
The power we have on earth, only last for a very short time. Power is an abstract noun that can be transferred from one person to another therefore, we should mind how we act and what we say during our taste of power.
3. We came empty handed and we shall leave empty handed:
We were created from dust by God and we shall return as dust to the Almighty Father that created us. The houses, cars, lands and investments Abba Kyari had while he was still alive was left behind after his death.
4. Death doesn't respect political status or influence:
Abba Kyari was a well respected political figure in Nigeria and Africa but when the call from dead came, his political influence and power couldn't save him from death's grip.
5. Try as much as possible to leave a good life worthy of emulation while on earth:
The life and legacy you left behind while on earth will be remembered and transferred accordingly to your kids when you leave therefore, try as much as possible as human to live a good life while on earth.
