In the U.S, surveys are carried out every year, where 100 historians and biographers rank past presidents based on 10 leadership qualities. In the lastest ranking, Abraham Lincoln and George Washington top the list.

Below are top 25 past presidents according to the ranking starting from the highest.

NOTE: The present president is normally not included in the ranking.
