"By zoning the presidency to the south, PDP has nailed Atiku Abubakar ambition" - Joe Igbokwe says.

Although, the issue of zoning the presidential seat is not constitutional and it is not in any legal book of Nigeria. It is the desire as decision of the southern governors that the next president that will rule after President Buhari will come from the south, according to the governor, it can either be from the south east or from the southwest.

While reacting to he political ambition of General Atiku Abubakar, the the Chairman of Lagos State Wharf Landing Fee Collective Agency, a renowned APC member, a well known Igbo man and also the special adviser to Lagos State governor on Drainage and water resources, Joe Igbokwe, has taken to his official Facebook page to reacts to the zoning issue.

On his page, Joe Igbokwe said "BY ZONING THE PRESIDENCY TO THE SOUTH PDP HAS AUTOMATICALLY RETIRED ATIKU ABUBAKAR FROM ACTIVE POLITICS AND CONSEQUENTLY NAILED HIS AMBITION TO RULE NIGERIA PERMANENTLY."

Obviously, if the idea of zoning the presidential seat is well accepted by everyone, the intention of the former vice president of Nigeria, Atiku Abubakar, to rule Nigeria will be affected. General Atiku Abubakar is one of the oldest Nigerian politicians that is still interested in leading this country. Recall that, General Atiku Abubakar is from Adamawa state which simply means he is a northerner.

According to Joe Igbokwe, he said if the PDP members should agree to the zoning, then Atiku Abubakar do not have a chance again.

Last Thursday, one of the northern elders and a political leader, Alhaji Abdullahi Muhammad openly reject the idea of zoning, he said this idea is as a result of selfishness and insincerity.
