The goal by 2023 for political parties is to ensure they emerge victorious at the polls. Recall that 2023 is the year eligible Nigerians are expected to vote to elect the next president of the country, and also there will be gubernatorial and the house of assembly elections in most states of the country.
However, political parties have already started to ensure that they emerge victorious by 2023 by making necessary and strategic plans that will yield results by then. It is good to note that strategic planning is an essential tool that facilitates success in politics. For the two major political parties in the country which are the ruling All Progressives Congress and the Peoples Democratic Party, their major aim is to produce the next president of the country and also produce a greater number of state governors and members of the national assembly by 2023. To achieve this, they must begin now to put plans in place.
As such, a recent report has revealed how the Mai Mala Buni-led committee has taken a necessary step that will guarantee the victory of APC by 2023. According to the report, the Mai Mala Buni-led committee has begun a move to pacify those aggrieved by the outcome of its Ward and Local Government congresses.
