All the females in All Progessive Party in Ondo Chapters have called Governor Rotimi in to a notices that for the forthcoming election that he should pick is running mate as a woman ahead of the forthcoming gubernatorial election.
The women in the party who are also members of Aketi group expressed their mind in a solidarity rally Tuesday, July 28, in Akure, the State capital. During the rally , the women said that they played a role in the social political, but they don't recognised them by compensating them with an appointment unlike northern part of the country.
The coordinator of Aketi women in person of Princess Adebunmi Osadahun released thus report that it is only Ondo in the Southwest where has been treated irrelevant, she lamented.
She continued his statements that since 1976 that is when a female becomes a senator's. have had just one woman in the House of Representatives, courtesy of Pa Adefarati, but for the state government they dare not go there.
Furthermore, women are loyal, hardworking, have respect and they know how to manage things, she added.
According to the sources, reported that they should disregard a rumour that Governor Rotimi Akeredolu has chosen Lucky Ayedatiwa from Ilaje local government area as his running mate.
