Sadiya Farouq who is the Minister incharge of the Ministry of Humanitarian Affairs, Disaster Management and Social Development of Nigeria, who is also incharge of the N-Power scheme has released some tweets on her Twitter page.
She talked about the N-Power program, she spoke about the disengagement of the Batch A and B beneficiaries, she said that the Batch A was disengaged on June while Batch B was disengaged on July. She also said that the Batch A stayed on the N-Power program for over 40months while Batch B stayed within the 2 years time frame. She also said that many of the exited beneficiaries have already become business owners, she also thanked the past beneficiaries for their service to the nation.
She also said something important about the new incoming Batch C beneficiaries. She said 'We are concluding arrangements to start the Batch C programme where other young Nigerians will participate. We will continue to work towards a better future for our young people'. See the tweet below.
The N-Power program was designed to employ the unemployed citizens of the country and engage them with primary assignments. The program has really helped the communities and the nation.
