Three Reasons Why Tinubu May Not Become President

Despite the fact that the forthcoming gubernatorial election is in the year 2023, many politicians have started creating awareness while their supporters were campaigning for them already. Amidst those tips for the presidential candidate is the national chairman of All Progressives Congress APC, Bola Ahmed Tinubu. The former governor of Lagos State is a prominent politicians known in the whole Nigeria.

Many have tipped Tinubu for the presidential office while argue against his becoming a president. After some critical review, here are 3 possible reasons Asiwaju Bola Tinubu might not become president in Nigeria although the reasons may not be limited to this alone;

1. The matter that arose after EndSars protests

Last year, Nigerian witness a massive protest which firstly starts with youth demanding for ending of Special Anti-Robbery Squad (SARS) due to allege misuse of power by the group. The reported killings of youth during the protest made Nigerian youth made up their mind against voting for old politicians. The issue even prompt youth to the launching of democratic party for youth (NYDP). Demographic population, youth have the highest number of population in Nigeria.

2. The issue of age

Recently after Tinubu's 69th birthday, their was controversy about his real age. Many seems not to believed that Tinubu's real age is 69 & claimed that he is older than 69. It was amidst this controversy when Wikipedia locked the editing aspect of Tinubu's profile due to the fact that it have been edited times without numbers. This is detrimental to someone seeking for a political ambition. Also, Nigerian have had enough of lies from politicians.

3. The region he is from

You will all agree with me that North dominated the Nigeria population and with the current issue of both Yoruba and Igbo demanding for separate nations of theirs, it's expedient their might probably be a situation where voters will be voting for people of their region. If this happened, it can be said that it's already a defeat because about half of Nigeria population is from North if not more.

Looking at the 3 reasons stated above, it is obvious that if something is not done to correct them, his becoming president of this nation will just be a nightmare

Do you believe he can become the president?
