Professor Chukwuma Charles Soludo has declared officially his intentions to contest the Anambra Gubernatorial election slated for November 6, 2021. He stated this during a town hall meeting held in Isuofia civic centre on the 14th of February 2021, in the presence of eminent leaders and mammoth crowd of people of Isuofia-his hometown.

Among whom were : HRH Igwe CAO Muoghalu ( the Traditional Ruler of Isuofia town); Chief Jude Okeke ( President General Isuofia Peoples Assembly); Hon. Emeka Ezenwanne ( Hon. Commissioner for Public Utility) among others.

In his remarks, Prof. Soludo, the former CBN Governor said that the purpose of the gathering was to declare his intention to run for the Anambra State Gubernatorial race slated for November 6, 2021 and to seek the support of his people. He expressed optimism that the primaries under the platform of the All Progressives Grand Alliance, APGA, would be a smooth one for and favourable for him.

He thanked the people of Isuofia for the turnout, he equally thanked his team of volunteers for their sacrifices so far. Responses were taken from the people, as many gave their nod for this decision and declaration.
