Prof Daniel Pondei collapsed after about 45 minutes of interrogation by the House committee. The NDDC boss fainted where he was seated and was first of all attended to a law maker who tried to keep him conscious by separating his teeth and giving him water. After that, he rushed out of Conference Room 231 which happens to be the venue of the investigative hearing on illegal spending and mismanagement of funds.
This comes after President Muhammadu Buhari on Thursday lastweek ordered a speedy and effective coordination among security and investigating agencies along with the National Assembly into the allegations and counter allegations of corruption rocking the Niger Delta Development Commission (NDDC).
More so, this is also in reaction to the match between the Minister of Niger Delta, Senator Godswill Akpabio, and former acting Managing Director of the NDDC, Ms Joi Nunieh who've been trading words on social media platforms.
Despite professor Daniel Pondei's condition, Nigeria went ahead to troll him with pictures, memes and such.
Here are some of the hilarious memes trolling online.
Although these memes are hilarious, we wish Mr Pondei quick recovery from his ailment and we pray he gets well soon.
Some Nigerians actually think that Mr Pondie faked it all and is actually fine, they think he faked being faint so as to get out of the questions being thrown at him.
What do you think?
