Attahiru and 10 military officers who were on an official trip to Kaduna,died in a crash on Friday. This happened close to the Kaduna International Airport at about 6pm. The victims were buried at the National Military Crmentary, Abuja.
But,it was observed that, President Muhammadu Buhari,Vice President,Prof Yemi Osinbajo and their wives were remarkably absent at The burial ceremony of the Chief Of Army Staff, Lieutenant General Ibrahim Attahiru and other senior Officers of the Army.
This wasnt a good sign as so many dignitaries and prominent personalities had attended the burial ceremony yet, the household of the president was absent. General Ibrahim Attahiru, had died in a plane crash due to bad weather alongside his accomplice. They were the highest level officers who were sent to fight the Boko Haram inorder to restore peace to Nigeria.
Calls were made for the President and his household to pay respects to the deceased family so, Aisha Buhari has decided to go for the presidential family.She wasn't present to escort the wife of Attahiru to pay her last respect to her husband but, now she has decided to act as a pillar for the family and a shoulder to lean on during this period.
