Fears of her emergence as APC Gubernatorial candidate forces the Incumbent Governor of Adamawa Ahmadu Umaru Fintiri to pick and Unveil female as his running mate.
It was gathered that Mr Finitiri dumped his deputy without any good reasons ahead of the 2023 general election.
According to a report, The Governor disclosed to journalist that he replaces him with Professor Kaletapwa Farauta who is a Christian.
Speaking earlier today, Mr Fintiri said the candidate was selected based on her honesty, integrity, transparency and hard work.
He also urged her to discharge her responsibilities with fear of God, in addition to her motherly role of keeping the home.
Mr Fintiri furthermore call on the opposition parties to join his administration for the progress and development of the state.
In her remarks, Farauta, who described her selection as an act of God, thanked Fintiri and the PDP for finding her worthy of the position.
She assured of serving with loyalty, commitment, dedication and fear of God.
“We will work assiduously to ensure victory for the party in all future elections,” she said.
She called on women to be committed in their educational pursuit for academic excellence.
