A senior member of the opposition Peoples Democratic Party (PDP) has criticized the APC government led by President Buhari, Senator Samuel Anyanwu says the ruling party has failed to deliver on its promises to Nigerian. He says instead of reforming, the APC has further destroyed the country because nothing is working.
A senior member of the Peoples Democratic Party (PDP), Senator Samuel Anyanwu, has lamented how the ruling APC has embarrassed Nigerians by not living up to its promises. Speaking in Owerri, Anyanwu, lamented how insecurity, rising poverty and unemployment have left people in dire straits.
The Statement reads partly "The APC and President Muhammadu Buhari have assured Nigerians that they will be able to save their lives, build better roads, provide quality education and develop agriculture. "
"Today all their promises were a sham because they took power but still Nigerians have not waited for anything. Now Nigerians are suffering and they are being ignored." he said."
He added: "Nothing is working in this country, or people and their assets are not left behind. Unfortunately a country with abundant natural resources is increasing its oil prices as it grows, It's not fair. A Consumer prices are going up and they're not coming back," he said
