On Friday, the Ogun state governor Prince Dr. Dapo Abiodun M.F.R made it known to the public that there will be conduct of promotion exercises for civil/public servants in the state for the year 2018, 2019 and 2020. This information was disclosed in a circular signed by the Permanent secretary in civil service commission in person of Mr. Kolawole Ogunlana. The secretary made it known that due to the corona virus pandemic which has caused a lot of havoc to the state and Nigeria at large, the state governor now called for the avoidance of written examinations across all levels in state Public/Civil service.
With this, Dapo Abiodun enjoined all Ministries, Departments and Agencies to prepare an oral interview and submit to appropriate agencies on or before March 1, 2021. Also, all candidates are expected to purchase Ogun State Public Service Regulation Hand Book with the sum of two thousand naira only each.
