Muhammadu Sanusi II (Sanusi Lamido Sanusi) was born on the 31st of July, 1961 and is a genuine member of the Dabo royal family of Kano state. Sanusi served as the 14th Emir of kano from the Fulani Sullubawa clan, he ascended to thrown on the 8th of June 2014 after his grand uncle Ado Bayero died. He was succeeded by Aminu Ado Bayero in 2020.
Sanusi Lamido Sanusi is currently married to four wives, Sadiya Ado Bayero, Maryam Sanusi, Rakiya Sanusi and Sa'adatu Musdafa are the names of his wives. Sanusi Lamido Sanusi married his last wife while she was still 18, she was a secondary school leaver and today she's a graduate from a university in the United Kingdom.
