A Presidential Aspirant of the 2019 General Election, Prof. Kingsley Moghalu has gone to his verified twitter account and showed his displeasure to the clamor over having an Igbo President for the 2023 election race.
Prof. Kingsley Moghalu who vied for the office of President in the 2019 under the Young Progressive Party (YPP), he also participated in the Presidential Candidate Election Debate for the just concluded General Election. He was among the group regarded as third force in the electioneering period.
Prof. Kinsley Moghalu was a Professor of International Business and Public Policy at Tuffs University in the United States, and a diplomat with United Nations before his subsequent appointment by former President Yar'adua in 2009 as a Deputy Governor of the Central Bank.
He how ever expressed his dissatisfaction of the use of the phrase "Igbo Presidency" sighting "Fulani Presidency" has done use no good as a country. This is coming after a conference was hosted by Igbo World Council primarily concerning the space of Igbo ethnic group in Nigeria political space, held at Gregory University, Uturu. Professor Kingsley Moghalu is an Igbo from the South Eastern part of Nigeria.
